6 Days Old | Torrance Newborn Photography

Last week, I had the privilege of meeting sweet baby Mathieu! At only 6 days old, he stole my heart! He was sound asleep when I arrived and didn't fuss at all... what a charmer! His mom and dad were so sweet, too, and clearly wonderful parents already! It was such a great day! With my own little boy on the way, it was wonderful to have the opportunity to love on the little guy a bit! I love what I do!

Mary & Andrew | Orange Engagement Photography

Let me just begin by saying: I have beautiful friends. Seriously. My friends are conveniently attractive! So when Mary & Andrew asked me to do their engagement photos, I was thrilled! Not only because they're good looking, but more so because of how excited I am that they are so very in love. Andrew and I have been friends since high school, so when he called to tell me that she said "yes!", I was as giddy as a school girl!

As I was editing their photos, my sweet daughter looked at one and said, very matter-of-factly, "He loves her!". It is that evident! So excited for you both and can't wait for August to get here!

Kate was so tired the other day from skipping- no wait, make that refusing- her nap, that around 5pm she knocked out on the couch. We didn't let her sleep too long, but I took advantage of the stillness to grab some quick shots of my sleeping beauty!

As a second shooter for Kristen from Kaptured by Kristen, I had the chance to shoot this fun wedding at the beautiful French Estate in Orange, CA. It is such a beautiful location- vintage and cool, and as cozy as home!

Catching up- A Big, Fun Greek Wedding...

I know, I know... it's been a while! My excuse is that life has been pretty busy! Between the demands of my other job & my family, moving to a new home and the exhausting work of growing another baby (hooray!!!), suffice to say that I have not been bored. While I haven't been shooting as much as I'd like, I did have the opportunity to second shoot two weddings in January with the wonderful Kristen of Kaptured by Kristen! She is always so generous to allow me the learning experience- and I am thrilled that we're both expecting baby boys in July! What fun!

So on to the weddings! Here is a taste of Liz & Steve's beautiful day! If the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" didn't make you wish you were a part of a large Greek family, their wedding certainly would have! The warm family, the beautiful church, the laughter, the music and the endless night of fun dancing and celebrating were all wonderful! Congrats you two- no one could ever deny the love you have for one another!

It's been a while! Last month, I had the pleasure to spending some time with a dear friend and her siblings to grab some sweet shots of them together for their parent's Christmas gift. As an only child, I love spending time with siblings who love each other and enjoy being around one another- it is a connection I never had, but that I appreciate so much!

We spent some time down by the beach and at the park- I love these guys!
