Sweet Baby Isla | Orange County Newborn Photography

After having the pleasure of doing some maternity photos for J at the end of last month, it was so exciting to come photograph her new addition to the family- beautiful little Isla!

She was such a sweet little princess... didn't want to miss a minute of the action, but we still managed to get a couple of sleepy shots! Thanks for sharing your precious little girl, J- she is amazing!

Casting Call!

I'm currently seeking a few good models to add to my portfolio! If you or someone you know fit any of these categories, please have them contact me at alisonkayphoto@gmail.com!

Here is what I am looking for!

* Maternity model (34-38 weeks pregnant)... UPDATE: Completed.

* Soon-to-be one year old for Cake Smash photos (session will also include non-cake photos)

* 6-8 month old (must be able to sit unassisted)

* Newborn baby girl (within first 2 weeks of life) UPDATE: Completed.

* Engaged or married couple for engagement style shots at the San Juan Capistrano train station/ downtown area


Volunteers from the casting call will receive:

* 1- 8x10 print
* 2- 5x7 prints
* 10% off additional prints

New Toys!

A new toy means a new post!

As soon as my new piece of equipment arrived, I thought about what outfit I'd throw on my little girl to test it out... and the green, polka dot dress was the winner. Of course, bribery was necessary with my crabby toddler...



Soon the bribery wore off and the 'tude came out...

In Honor of Dad

My husband is an avid fly-fisherman. What better gift for Father's Day, last week, than a sweet picture of his future fishing buddy! I tried a little vintage processing for fun!

Oh newborns! There is nothing quite as sweet as a newborn baby- their perfect skin, their little sounds... sigh!
